PFA Union Tee
The PFA Union Tee is a tee made of fusible polytetrafluoroethylene (PFA). Its excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature stability, and high purity make it widely used in applications requiring the highest standards of fluid purity and chemical stability. It is primarily used for connecting corrosive fluid pipes in the chemical, semiconductor, and pharmaceutical industries.

Core Features of the PFA Union Tee
● Corrosion Resistance
PFA material exhibits excellent resistance to most chemical solvents, strong acids and bases (such as HF and H₂SO₄), and high-temperature fluids, making it suitable for harsh environments such as chlor-alkali chemicals and wet etching.
● High-Temperature Stability
Long-term operating temperatures can reach 260°C, and short-term resistance to temperatures exceeding 300°C meets the high-temperature chemical transport requirements of the semiconductor industry.
● High Purity and Low Precipitation
The material boasts high purity and extremely low metal ion precipitation, meeting the stringent fluid purity requirements of the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.
● Mechanical Stress Resistance
Compared to FEP, PFA has higher melt strength and crack growth resistance, making it suitable for applications subject to vibration or lateral loads.
Typical Applications of the PFA Union Tee
● Semiconductor Manufacturing
* Transporting wet etching chemicals such as HF and H₂O₂.
* Connecting high-purity PFA piping to prevent metal contamination of wafers.
* Suitable for transporting high-purity chemical solutions.
● Pharmaceutical Industry
* CIP/SIP (cleaning/sterilization in place) system with a zero-dead-spot design prevents bacterial growth.
* Enables liquid drug delivery without metal ion precipitation.
● Lithium Battery Production
* Electrolyte injection pipelines prevent metal impurities from affecting battery performance.
● Chlor-alkali Chemical Industry
* Handles wet chlorine gas and concentrated alkali, replacing easily corrosive metal valves.
* Suitable for small-flow corrosive media.
